Pokes on Rice

肉は「薄切り」だったので、sliced poke。
玉葱が「しんなり」してきたら、という時の「しんなり」は、soften。soft の動詞です。「玉葱を茹で、しんなりしてきたら肉を入れる」は、Put the onion into boiled water and when softened, add the pokes.
「弱火で、汁が半分になるまで煮詰める」は、simmer over a low heat until the liquid is reduced to about 1/2.
